Quality system: NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015

The quality management system of Apparatenfabriek “Aalsmeer” is, since 1996, approved by Lloyd’s Register QA Ltd. according to the quality management standard BS ISO 9001 and applies to the design, manufacture, overhaul and repair of heat exchangers and pressure vessels.

Because of the consecutive certification of more than 10 years , Lloyd’s Register QA Ltd. presented a Gold Award to Apparatenfabriek “Aalsmeer”.

Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EG – (PED)
New PED: 2014/68/EU partly in 2015 and 2016

Since 2002 Apparatenfabriek “Aalsmeer” is certified according to the PED modules A, D1, H and H1. This means that Apparatenfabriek “Aalsmeer”, independent of the examination class, can design, produce and do inspections in own management.

U-Mark Certification
Since 2013 is Apparatenfabriek “Aalsmeer” certified by the “American Society of Mechanical Engineers” ( ASME ) according the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code ( U-Mark Designator, certificate nr. 44,680 ) and by ”The National Board of Boiler and Pressure vessel Inspectors” certified for Metallic Repairs and/or alterations ( R-Mark Designator, certificate nr. R-9023 )

In order for the future to continue to provide timber Apparatenfabriek “Aalsmeer” has become recognized training company for young people to lead to professionals in welding, sheet metal work or bench work.
